2023 popped off with her Verizon commercial and she was the voice of General Motors (GM) with “that new car smell” campaign, recording 5 television commercials and 3 radio spots. Her voice can also be heard in episode 305 of Atlanta (FX) where she represented her Trinidadian roots.

She stars on the 2nd season HULU’s "Sherman's Showcase" executive produced by John Legend. Miami Herald is calling it "Saturday Night Live" meets "SoulTrain.” She plays multiple roles, including an impersonation of Ruth Nega in a parody of “Passing” called “NOT Passing.”

Aleksei is the creator of her own semi-autobiographical half-hour dark comedy, that brings light to the daunting task of healing through complex grief, and is in talks with notable entertainment companies about picking it up. Additionally, she is in development on her newest project “Vampires of Venice.”

Despite a global pandemic, 2021 was a HUGE year for her with a starring role on the Top 10 Netflix thriller “The Vanished.” The film soaring up to #2 in the US and #4 in Canada with Aleksei starring opposite Anne Heche and Thomas Jane, written and directed by Peter Facinelli. Hitting an IMDB rating of 197!

She began 2020 with a role in “Bless this Mess” on ABC where she dates Pam Grier’s son (Langston Kerman). She also appeared on the revival of “Will & Grace” on NBC with one of the greatest Sitcom directors of all time, James Burrows.

She just shot two national commercials (Jared Jewelers & Lowe’s) and is recurring on a sketch comedy show on IFC (available on HULU) called "Sherman's Showcase" where she plays multiple roles including Adelaide Hall in the sketch “Downtown Addy” acting opposite the shows Executive Producer John Legend.

Aleksei is a philanthropist, producer and writer who creates projects that will evoke change in the world. She owns her own community outreach venture where she provides free mental health care to suicide loss survivors called “Mourning Glory” under which she is producing a docu-series.

In previous years, Aleksei worked on “Dollface”, a comedy on HULU directed by Matt Spicer, starring Kat Dennings. Aleksei performed in the CBS Diversity Sketch Comedy Showcase, joining the list of alumni that include Tiffany Haddish, Kate McKinnon and Randal Park among many others. Aleksei has been cast in multiple CBS comedies since then including : "2 Broke Girls", "The Great Indoors", "Living Biblically" and "Life in Pieces”.

Aleksei began her sketch comedy career with a lead role in a pilot for Comedy Central with the original creators of “MadTV” before she tested for “In Living Color” after submitting an audition tape with only 72 hours notice which caught the attention of Keenan Ivory Wayans who called her a "comedic genius”.

The experience inspired her to start writing and producing original content for YouTube and after accruing over a million views, she was hired by ABC where she starred and wrote on the female sketch comedy show “Paper Dolls”. She went on to work on the FOX comedy “Ben & Kate” and in 2016, she tested for “MadTV” (CW).
